Medical staff is greeted by the pilot at a stop during a recent commercial-stretcher medical transport from Los Angeles, CA to Kathmandu, Nepal.  This team, comprised of a nurse practitioner, RN and LPN, cared for our paraplegic, oxygen-dependent patient for nearly 20 hours.

 

 

 

U.S. Air Ambulance was recently featured as a cover story and named to the top 400 companies on the Gulf Coast, by Gulf Coast Business Review.

 

 

U.S. Air Ambulance has been nominated for the 2007 Sarasota County Economic Development Corporation's Hall of Fame. The award recognizes growth, community involvement and corporate responsibility.

 

 

"U.S. Air Ambulance has contracted with Kindred Healthcare, which operates over 450 hospitals, nursing homes and other medical facilities, to coordinate emergency evacuation of patients and staff."

 

 

Paul Moore, a Registered Aero-flight Nurse with U.S. Air Ambulance, was recently named one of the 50 Fabulous Nurses in the Tucson, Arizona, area, by the Arizona Daily Star.

 

 

From the Sarasota, Florida Herald Tribune, March 27, 2007: The Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, a division of the Florida Department of Health, recently conducted a random site survey of medical aircraft and equipment owned and operated by Intensive Air Ambulance, Inc. The survey rated the performance of the vehicles, medical equipment and service records “exemplary.”
