US Air Ambulance medical staff are highly skilled, aero-medically competent personnel who adhere to detailed practice guidelines and devoted to providing excellent standards of care. Our staff includes:

TRAINING
U.S. Air Ambulance employs staff members trained in principles of aeromedical transport aviation. Our staff maintains licensing, credentialing in their specialty, with multiple certifications in the areas of critical care medicine and transport.

 

Our educational coordinator assures our team members are well versed on policies which cover educational, treatments, procedural, and drug utilization practices, reflecting the latest guidelines in the field of aeromedical aviation. As part of our training, air medical crew must demonstrate knowledge and ability in more than 100 medical skills and treatments.

All U.S. Air Ambulance team members meet the following requirements:

  • At least five years experience in critical care
  • Trained in flight physiology, Emergent and Critical Care medicine
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS,
  • Air Medical Crew-Advanced National Standard class or its equivalent
